Mommy Pop Shop Charleston Trunk Show

Trunk Show at Noddy with Cameron Schwabenton and Kaminer Haislip!

I am so excited to collaborate with my friend and incredibly talented designer and silversmith Kaminer Haislip and gorgeous downtown Charleston southern goods boutique Noddy for this trunk show!

My couture mid-century inspired pillow line, hand pleated and made in the South, will be shown for sale in a wide range of colors during the trunk show. Kaminer's handcrafted silver jewelry and home interior products will also be for sale.

Noddy proudly represents each state in the South and offers items for the home, men, women and man’s best friend. The majority of their curated products were made by southerners—thus creating an extraordinarily refreshing shopping experience. Noddy is located at 86 A Queen Street in downtown Charleston.

Come shop the fun variety of items and enjoy a glass of wine!

Mommy Pop's Recipe for Huguenot Torte

Mommy Pop's recipe for Huguenot Torte was selected to be featured in Time Life Recipe Book in 1952. Always a favorite in the Wallace house, Huguenot Torte was named for the Huguenots, French Protestants who settled in Charleston to escape persecution. Mommy Pop and Daddy Pop were visiting Charleston before WWII and recognized it as Daddy Pop's favorite dessert that she had been making for about a year.
